Silvia Malcovati

Architect, is Associate Professor of Architectural and Urban Composition at the Department of Architecture and Design at the Politecnico di Torino and Full Professor of Entwurf Städtebau at the FHP Potsdam. Born in Milan, she studied architecture in Milan and Barcelona and graduated in Milan with Giorgio Grassi (1994). She has researched at ETH Zurich (1994-95), achieved the title of PhD in Architectural Composition at the IUAV in Venice (1999) and worked as a post-doc at the Polytechnic of Milan (1999- 2001).
She organized lectures, conferences, research projects and curated exhibitions and publications, including Berlino 1990-2010. La ricerca sull’isolato e sul quartiere (2009, with M.
