Mario Pati

Mario Pati is a researcher in philosophy working mainly on Kant, Hegel, metaphilosophy, and
certain issues in contemporary epistemology (especially self-deception). In 2025, he won the
Silvestro Marcucci Prize for the best Kantian paper. He completed his MA at the Scuola
Normale Superiore di Pisa and received his PhD from the University of Turin (FINO
Consortium). After his doctoral studies, he was employed as an assistant professor at the
Jagiellonian University in Kraków. Starting from October 2026, he is an FWO postdoctoral
fellow at the University of Antwerp. Among his publications is a monograph titled Hegel e la
logica della filosofia. Concetto, realtà, sistema (Studium, Roma 2021).
