Senior research fellow in the Philosophy Department at the Università degli Studi di Milano, Italy, my current focus of interest is the connection between temporal experience and the fundamental features of temporal reality. On the one hand, I am developing an account of temporal experience that aims at being empirically plausible and compatible with forms of anti-realism of the flow of time. On the other hand, I am exploring alternative metaphysics to the standard realist vs. anti-realist opposition in philosophy of time. Relatedly, I am working on the open future, and on an original account of explanation in metaphysics of time. Further research topics I have worked on includes social ontology and the semantics of morally loaded language.
