Gloria Sansò

Adjunct professor, SUNY Niagara

Gloria Sansò is currently an adjunct professor of philosophy at SUNY Niagara, where she is
committed to excellence in teaching. She previously served as a graduate assistant at the
University at Buffalo (SUNY), where she completed her Ph.D. in Philosophy. She earned both
her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Turin.

Gloria’s research focuses on social metaphysics, the philosophy of AI, and applied ontology. She
is especially interested in areas where these fields overlap. Her two primary research projects
concern (i) the development of a computational ontology of finance and (ii) the transformative
effects of algorithms in the financial sector and society at large.
