Jimmy Hernandez Marcelo is a Ph.D. candidate in Philosophy at the University of Salamanca (Spain) in a joint doctoral research with the University of Turin (Italy). The subject of his doctoral thesis is “The phenomenological investigations of the young Derrida”. This research reviews the writings of the young Derrida for the purpose of showing the influence of phenomenological philosophy on the genesis of his concept of writing. In order to develop this research, he has been a visiting researcher in the University of Paris 1, the Catholic University of Louvain, and the University of Coimbra.
