Ben Woodard is a PhD student in Theory and Criticism at Western University. His dissertation is on the relation of space, motion, and naturalism in the work of FWJ von Schelling. He has published numerous articles on the philosophy of nature, ecology, feminism, materialism, pessimism, as well as horror and weird fiction. He has published two monographs: Slime Dynamics: Generation, Mutation, and the Creep of Life (Zero, 2012) and On an Ungrounded Earth: Towards a New Geophilosophy (Punctum, 2013).
